Field Trip to the Farm

I was able to go on a field trip to the farm last Monday with Trevor and his kindergarten class. There was so much for them to see! One of the first things we were told was that the Momma Sheep had just had a baby so we shouldn't yell around them. "If you yell around the Momma, she'll take you down!" Hmmm......I thought that sounded like home! :)
When we got home that night, Keith asked Trevor if there were lots of animals. Trevor started to name off all of them: "Cows, Sheep, Chickens, a Rooster, a Bossy Duck (yes, that's how he described it!), a Pony, a Donkey, a Dog and 3-4 Cats and a Gator." Keith's eyes just about popped out of his head..."A WHAT?!" I had to clear that up...it was a JOHN DEERE gator...the type that you RIDE!

I TOLD you that they all LOVE Mrs. B!
This is one of my new favorite pictures!
In 2007, I went on this same field trip with Jared and Trevor got to come along. I had to get those pictures out so I could compare them.

Here is a picture of Trevor checking out the hay-bale horse....

He had to check it out 3 years ago, too!

I just had to take a picture of Trevor with the pitch fork! Looking very American Gothic-like...

And here is Jared, 2007, doing the pitch fork thing! As you can see, with 3 boys, we get a lot of use out of our clothes. I love the missing tooth!
