WEDNESDAY JUNE 30, 2010
The boys started out the day how they ended the night before---a little Rock Band. I couldn't believe it. We came all this way to play Rock Band! Jodi said that she had never before considered Rock Band before noon!
That morning Jodi sent Jared out to her backyard to pick some lemons off of her tree to make fresh squeezed lemonade. Jared took his job very seriously! And I have to say....he did a great job! The lemonade tasted great! He got a "good do" on it!
We were a little slow at getting around in the morning, but we finally got out of the house! After a quick stop for lunch at In-N-Out Burger, we headed out to Disney's California Adventure. Jodi just dropped us off and we were on our own. This is a picture of Paradise Pier.
The boys with the one and only Mickey Mouse!
There is just something about the boys and different eye wear. They had so much fun in them! There were also several attractions that required 3D glasses, so that just added to all the fun!
With the recent release of Toy Story 3, there was a lot of Toy Story attractions. This was set up to make it look like new toys on a toy shelf. As you can see, Trevor really got into it!
Here are the pictures from our ride on the Ferris Wheel on Paradise Pier.
Our first looooooooong day ended with a show called "World of Color" It's really hard to explain how cool it was but it was held on water and it included shooting water, and colors shown through the water, it also had fire and music. They also showed scenes from different Disney movies using the spraying water as the backdrop. (I told you it was hard to explain!) I knew it would be cool, but it didn't start until 11:15 so I just hoped that Keith and the boys were as impressed as I was. In the end they were! Everyone loved it!
Jodi met us in the parking garage at 12:30 after getting stuck in traffic. (Yes, stand still traffic at midnight!) She found us sitting on the floor of the parking garage so tired, we were unable to move another inch! But what a great day!
